Sacha de Nijs is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor that has been dedicated to practicing yoga diligently for the past 13 years and has been teaching for the last 8 years. She volunteers on a regular basis for the community. Every week she volunteers at Radiant Health Centers (Formally Aids Service Foundation/ASF) in Irvine teaching yoga to those living with HIV/AIDS that don’t have funds to attend an exercise class. She is a volunteer for her Buddhist temple as a docent and teacher trainer for docents. She is a board member for the LA Chapter of Buddhist Light International Association (BLIA). She meditates daily and incorporates mindful practices in her life. This is why she is passionate about reaching and teaching as many students that are beginning their journey into or continuing their practice of yoga.
